Why do I see LifeGarden and SolaGarden on the website and product labels?

Great question! We are in the process of rebranding our company from LifeGarden Naturals to SolaGarden Naturals. We chose to keep the logo and look of the products similar so as minimize confusion with our customers. You may notice LifeGarden and SolaGarden being used interchangeably for the next couple months as make this transition. Please know that our products have not changed at all and are still the same high quality formulations you've come to expect from our company.

What size are the capsules?

The capsule size for our Ceylon Cinnamon and Turmeric Curcumin is 00. It is a very common capsule size and measures about .3" x .9". Our Whole Food Biotin capsule is size 0 (.3” x .7”). Our customers have told us they don't have trouble swallowing this size capsule.

What are the ingredients in the Biotin supplement?

Our Whole Food Biotin contains two ingredients: Biotin from Orgen-Bio organic biotin harvested from Sesbania Agati trees and a vegetable cellulose capsule. Our biotin is healthier and gentler on the stomach than synthetic biotin (which is 99% of the biotin available for sale) because it is organically produced from a plant rather than being synthesized from chemicals. 

Does the Biotin contain any fillers?

Thank you for your question! Our Whole Food Biotin does not contain any fillers at all. It is simply an extract of the Sesbania Agati tree, which contains Biotin, encapsulated in a vegan cellulose capsule. At SolaGarden Naturals, we strongly believe in providing our customers with the most pure ingredients possible and never using any synthetic or potentially harmful additives.

It says USDA certified but there is no seal. Why?

The USDA Certified Organic designation refers to the OrgenBio® organic Biotin ingredient which is USDA certified organic. The capsule is non-GMO cellulose, but is not organic, so the entire product is unable to carry the green USDA organic seal. Since the capsule is less than 10% of the product weight, most of the product you’re consuming is USDA organic. 

What country is the turmeric sourced from?

Our turmeric is organically grown and sourced from farms in India where it is native.

It has been said that turmeric grown in China or India may have high levels of lead. Do you test and control for lead content?

SolaGarden Naturals is very conscious of the quality of ingredients we offer in our products. The FDA has set a recommended safe daily diet intake of lead at 75 ppm for adults. The World Health Organization states that 243 ppm per day is acceptable. We test each batch of Turmeric Curcumin and have found it contains 0.173 ppm of lead per capsule. That is much less than 1 ppm and well under the specification limit of 10 ppm per capsule (which we would never accept!).
